A man is recovering in hospital after losing control of his car and ploughing into a house in Melbourne's east.
Police said the accident happended at 9.20pm (AEDT) yesterday when the car driven by a man aged in his 30s, ran off the road near the corner of Bizley and Lawrence roads at Mt Waverley.
The car hit the garage before slamming into the side of a house, causing structural damage to the building.
